Job Description
- Inspection of electronic components, mechanical parts, cable assemblies, printed wiring boards, etc. for conformance to engineering drawings, work instructions, customer and vendor specifications, and industry standards.
- Verify conformance and write nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.
- Conduct transactions in ERP system, move product to stock and/or MRB as required
- Assist management with implementing process controls, improvement activities, creating work instructions and inspection plans.
- Conducts cycle counting investigation to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Enters inventory-based transactions into accounting software.
- Establishes and maintains positive work relationships with co-workers.
- Maintain appropriate records of supplier documentation and inspections
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-600 and other industry standards
- Proficient ability to utilize a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite software package.
- Ability to read and interpret prints and datasheets.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools/gauges.
- Must be able to use microscope.
- Must be proficient in inventory and cycle count procedures.
- Must be able to do basic arithmetic calculations (addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and division).
- Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Basic Computer Skills
- Experience with the use of inspection tools required
- A minimum of two (2) years related quality control inspection experience, electronics industry preferred
