Job Description
The Machine Builder is responsible for assembling, installing, and testing mechanical/electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in industrial production and capitol machine builds. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of mechanical/electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading in full cycle builds
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install various types of industrial machinery/electrical equipment according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Perform functional tests on assembled machinery to ensure proper operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, modifications, and testing results. Update technical manuals as necessary.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to improve machinery design and functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly or machine building.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
